1) Automatically divide your orders
Are you still manually planning some or all your orders? That is of the past. With trip optimization software your orders can be automatically divided over your fleet and technicians in a way that your trips and capacity are optimized.
2) Sending orders to the trip optimization system
Efficient planning starts with having the right data in your TMS/ERP/CRM. It is here that you have all relevant data related to the orders and customers. The system will instantly give you a proposal of the most optimal planning and a complete overview of your orders on the map. The planner now has a visual feedback and can send the orders back to TMS/ERP/CRM for reports or order picking.
3) Send planned trips to the device in the truck
When the planner has approved the proposed planning, it is possible to send the trips to the onboard device. This will ensure that the planned trip will be driven and that there will be no discrepancy in the operations. The device sends real-time data back to the trip optimization system, so the planner has a visual overview of where the trucks are located. This information can be used to inform your customers via SMS or e-mail about the estimated time of arrival (ETA).
